How TAPI works
API credits, with a market of their own.
Buy and sell API credit tokens in USDG. Their market price moves freely; their credit utility depends on the provider.
Explore marketsAnyone can start a market
Choose an API and create a public API credit market against USDG. A community launch does not imply the API company is affiliated or has enabled redemption.
The provider proves ownership
The real API company verifies its identity and completes the fee-claim requirements. Its share remains segregated until then; it never belongs to the community launcher.
Trade tokens. Redeem for use.
When the provider enables credit delivery, each whole token redeems for one defined API credit. Your linked account and available capacity are checked before settlement.
Price is a comparison, not a promise.
A provider's direct credit price can help you compare costs for the same credit unit. Fees, gas, price impact, plan requirements and availability all matter. A lower token price does not guarantee savings, future capacity or profitable resale.
A new revenue stream for API providers.
Markets can form around an API before the provider does any integration work. After the API company verifies itself, it can claim its share of trading fees to its Privy embedded wallet. Enabling redemption adds a second path: users spend tokens for API credits while verified USDG settlement goes directly to the provider.
What happens when I redeem?
Preparation checks your provider account and reserves capacity for a specific amount and expiry. Settlement sends the market's USDG output to the provider; credit delivery is complete only after verified settlement and the provider's confirmation. One whole token grants one defined credit. TAPI tokens are not required.
